    Description

    We are working with a high performing and progressive private credit house in New York who are looking to add headcount to their teams to really help drive forward their unique strategy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage existing relationships and post-deal portfolio companies through to exit
    • Execute new investment originations, diligence and underwriting
    • Structure new, unique investments on each deal
    • Work hand-in-hand with executives to work through key business milestones and challenges
    • Collaborate with teams across the firm and port-co's to achieve shared goals and assess restructuring, runoff and liquidations
    • Responsibility for diligence during deal process
    • Generate and present key information to investment committee

    Qualifications:

    • Sr. Associate candidates must have 5+ years of experience working in corporate restructuring, private credit, private equity, or special situations, specifically with hands-on experience in directly managing workouts, restructurings, and crises management with borrowers and company managers.
    • Interpersonal skills and maturity to communicate effectively with lower middle market management teams and extract actionable intelligence from complex situations;
    • Advanced Excel Skills: Ability to build operational and financial models, correlation, valuation, runoff, liquidation, and various other types of analyses with limited supervision;
