    Description

    Job Title: Lead Software Engineer

    Location: Phoenix - (Very flexible 2/3 days a month in office)

    Salary: Total Package - $185,000 + Equity

    Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in a range of programming languages including C#, .NET, and Java (with emphasis on C# and .NET), along with some familiarity with Front-end development (React, Typescript, JavaScript). This role involves a blend of technical leadership (40%) and hands-on coding (60%).

    You will be joining an exciting team, focussed on building new and innnovative products within the mobility industry. The company is based in central Phoenix and will have a couple of days a month onsite as a requirement.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
    • Architect, design, and develop robust, scalable, and secure solutions using C# and .NET technologies, as well as other relevant languages such as C++ and Java.
    • Drive innovation and best practices in software development, ensuring adherence to coding standards, design principles, and performance benchmarks.
    • Proficiency in a range of programming languages including C#, C++, .NET, and Java (with emphasis on C# and .NET)
    • Some familiarity with Front-end development (React, Typescript, JavaScript)
    • Solid foundation in Object-Oriented Design, coupled with expertise in XML, JSON, SQL, and database development.
    • Experience in database administration, particularly with SQL Server and MySQL.
    • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) Pipelines.
    • Advanced knowledge of cloud architecture spanning PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS models, with proficiency in Azure.
    • Thorough understanding of system design fundamentals, design patterns, and best practices in cloud security.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven experience (5+ years) in software development with expertise in C# and .NET framework.
    • Hands-on experience in cloud technologies, particularly Azure (Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure App Service, etc.).
    • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
    • Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on coding with broader technical leadership responsibilities.
    • Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) is a plus.

    Package

    • Total Compensation Package: $185,000 (Depending on Experience) + Equity
    • Base Salary of up to $160,000
