    Cybersecurity Operations Specialist at Howmet Aerospace

    About the Company: Howmet Aerospace Inc., a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries.     Responsibilities:

    • Join Howmet Aerospace's Corporate Information Security team to lead technologies, exciting enterprise projects, and new platforms.
    • Advance security tools for secure and efficient business operations based on NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) best practices.
    • Report to the Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Operations and work under the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
    • Play a critical role in protecting Howmet's technology through cyber monitoring and proactive threat mitigation.

    Major Activities and Key Challenges:

    • Administer security system solutions addressing security requirements and leveraging standard principles.
    • Work with various teams to provide security platform administration and recommend solutions based on business needs.
    • Follow industry standards and best practices to maximize quality and efficiency of internal systems.
    • Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, projects, and incidents as required.
    • Provide off-hours on-call assistance when necessary.

    Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Critical thinking and data analysis skills.
    • Solid communication and collaboration skills.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
    • 3+ years of IT experience as a security administrator.
    • Experience with leading security tools.
    • Understanding of various IT technologies and concepts.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field.
    • Experience in security administration of various tools.
    • Relevant industry certifications.
