- Develop and launch all new manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with small teams on in-house development of novel and complex automation equipment.
- Closely collaborate with external equipment integrators on custom automation equipment.
- Manage external equipment integrators from equipment development through handover to local operations team.
- Install, Commission and qualify new equipment and fixtures for production implementation.
- Troubleshoot processes capability and stability through root cause analysis and DOE.
- Establish and improve the process flow of a specific battery production stage.
- Develop and maintain process documents such as Work Instructions (WI) and Operation Instructions (OI), as well as conducting training for production employees.
- Utilize methods such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), lessons learned and continuously improve the manufacturing process.
- Implement lean improvement in the process to enhance product yield, process capability, and reduce costs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Minitab, CAD, and other relevant software.
- Knowledge and experience in quality tools such as DOE, FMEA, and 8D.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in different stages of the lithium battery process is preferred.
