    Production Solutions Dept Description Technology Director POWER Engineers, Inc.

    is currently seeking a Technology Director to lead the development and implementation of software tools across the organization in support of POWER's business objectives.

    This includes working with company leaders to developing a cohesive strategy and executing it through effective prioritization, financial justification, and leadership of internal and external application development teams.

    The role's key objective is to drive costs out of the company through consolidation of existing software tools, implementation of new tools which increase efficiency, and helping to lead digital transformation at POWER.

    Additionally, the Director's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.


    Role Responsibilities:
    + Develop, implement, and be held accountable for the overall strategic direction of the Internal Technology group. + Assist with the development and execution of the Digital Technology Division's strategic direction and ensure alignment with those objectives. + Effectively engage with each division in the company to understand needs, communicate strategies, and coordinate technology efforts. + Manage a team of technology experts and software developers to create or implement new tools. + Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and partners. + Oversee the use of technology partners to increase application development capabilities. + Develops business cases to support technology projects. + Works within given financial constraints to further our digital transformation strategies through prioritizing, justifying, and executing the projects which bring the most value to the company. + Leverage capabilities within the IT organization and company at large to keep the team lean and effective. + Develop and maintain an understanding of how new technologies are impacting engineering and design services and develop strategy including long and short-range plans to best utilize it. + Engage with industry organizations to learn and understand trends around industry tools. + Coordinate with the IT organization around client technology changes or requirements which impact our corporate technology strategy. + Harness POWER's grass-roots efficiency tool development to make a bigger and more unified impact on how we provide services throug To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
