    Description

    Have strong customer service and business office skills? Want to work for an agency that's all about helping others? Prefer to work evening hours and some weekends? Our medical office in Bloomington, IL needs you for this full-time position Some evening hours will be required.

    Gather demographic, financial, and insurance information in person or by telephone. Ensure that patients' electronic medical records are up-to-date and include complete documentation and information. Operate standard office equipment.

    Strong customer service background. Excellent telephone skills. Knowledge of insurance policies and experience using an electronic health record with scheduling software desired. General knowledge of standard office procedures and use of office equipment. Good interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion in handling confidential information. Valid driver's license, private auto insurance. Research shows that women and people of color are less likely to apply for jobs when that's the case.
