They recently joined forces with one of the fastest growing National Brokerages in the country and now need to hire a new Commercial Lines Assistant to support 2 of their Senior Commercial Lines Account Managers. This is a fantastic opportunity to have mentorship from highly skilled and tenured insurance professionals. You will work with them in the office daily and will have the opportunity to really hone your skills and commercial lines coverage knowledge so that you can promote into a Commercial Account Manager and take over your own accounts.
You will be helping with renewals and daily insurance processing for small business accounts. Premium sizes range from $2500 to $50,000 and accounts will be a potpourri of risks allowing you to gain solid generalist coverage knowledge with many Commercial Carriers and lines of coverage. The agency is on EPIC, and they will train on the computer systems and workflow processes.
Compensation is dependent on your previous insurance agency experience and includes a full benefits package, PTO, sick time, and paid continuing education. Hours are in-office, Mon to Thurs 8 am to 5 pm with one hour for lunch and Fridays 8 am to 4 pm allowing you to get a jump on your weekend. Parking is free.
Only candidates living in the Tri City area or planning to move to the area in the next 30 days will be considered for this role. You need to have worked in an insurance agency or P & C Insurance Carrier and have an active WA P & C license. Bilingual Spanish skills are a huge plus.
