    Job Description

    We're on the lookout for a skilled Bartender to join our team at Millennium Hotel Durham. As a Bartender, your main role will be to deliver top-notch customer service and ensure our guests have a fantastic experience. If you're someone who loves experimenting with drinks, has great communication skills, and a warm personality, we'd be thrilled to have you on board!

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages based on recipes and customer preferences
    • Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, taking orders and providing suggestions
    • Keep the bar area clean and organized, restocking supplies, and maintaining glassware and utensils
    • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
    • Accurately handle cash transactions using a register or POS system
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service
    • Stay informed about the latest beverage trends and participate in necessary training sessions

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
    • Excellent knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and drink presentation
    • Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a bonus
    • Proficient in handling cash transactions with precision
    • Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
    • Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
    • Outstanding customer service abilities to create a welcoming ambiance
