    Abramson Engineering, LLC is looking to hire a mechanical engineer to work on mechanical/HVAC and building system design.

    We are looking for an energetic engineer who is interested in the building sciences and MEP field with any level of experience.

    We work on many different mechanical systems across a diverse range of building sectors.

    Below are the tasks you will be working on.

    We have a great training and mentoring program that will allow you to learn and be responsible for these tasks.

    Perform mechanical calculations, code research and design HVAC and plumbing systems.

    Prepare HVAC and plumbing construction drawings using Autocad.

    Specify and apply smart building controls to each project.

    Complete Energy Code Calculations (Comcheck).

    Program management and collaboration with the entire design team of architects, engineers, building owners, and manufacturers.

    Perform job site visits – pre-design field work, pre-construction, during construction and final inspection.

    Contact the manufacturer's representatives to help with selection and specify equipment.

    Printing, collating and sending out drawings.

    Requirements

    Experience in the field is a plus.

    Undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline, with a minimum of 3.5 GPA.

    Interest in MEP engineering and building sciences field.
