    Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cloud Engineer in the Arlington, VA area supporting a major government contract
    The Cloud Engineer will play a pivotal role by providing expert-level functional knowledge in areas such as business, engineering, IT Governance, and knowledge management
    This position requires a TS Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI and IAT II+ or IAM III certification

    Responsibilities of a Cloud Engineer:

    • Implement, manage, and maintain current/future Cloud Cybersecurity standards and best practices.
    • Monitor and implement Cloud Computing Plan for Operations (C3PO) practices, including intercepts, hardware reuse, and independent security assessments.
    • Support Joint & Co-Use Cybersecurity activities and information requests.
    • Collaborate with system owners to identify and design topologies for custom business and scientific applications in cloud service providers.
    • Evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions in collaboration with engineering and development teams.
    • Evaluate cloud services for functionality and security, identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
    • Architect and demonstrate cloud solutions to potential customers, reviewing documentation of cloud service providers.
    • Develop policies and procedures for using cloud services in the enterprise, interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs.

    Qualifications of a Cloud Engineer:

    • MUST HAVE A TOP SECRET GOVERNMENT CLEARANCE
    • Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of experience in relatable field.
    • Must have an IAT or IAM III Certification .
    • Hands-on experience in one of the four cloud service providers - Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services.
    • Hands-on experience in areas such as systems engineering, compute, storage, networking, software development, and cybersecurity.
    • Experience in systems migration to the cloud and DoD Risk Management Framework.
    • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code frameworks.

    Compensation of Cloud Engineer:

    Salary:
    $150,000k -160,000k *depending on experience** Benefits: Cigna medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Holidays, Etc.
