**Quad Lomira** is seeking a **Part-Time Building Maintenance Mechanic** to join their team. This role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining boiler and solvent recovery systems to ensure safe operations at all times. Responsibilities include working on various equipment such as boilers, pumps, air compressors, and more.

The ideal candidate will perform skilled mechanical maintenance tasks, with a focus on boiler and solvent recovery systems. This position requires adhering to safety guidelines, DNR and EPA regulations, and working efficiently with minimal supervision to ensure operational success.

Boiler operation: Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment independently.
Perform water testing and chemical treatment for boilers and cooling towers.
Repair pumps, piping, valves, and seals.
Maintain equipment logs accurately.
Operate and control plant equipment effectively.
Generate reports for regulatory compliance.
Monitor and control chilled water and fire protection systems.
Conduct daily inspections and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of a maintenance program from a technical school preferred.
State license or certification desirable but not mandatory.

Experience

Minimum 4 years training as a Boiler / Solvent Recovery Operator.
Experience with various equipment in the boiler room and solvent recovery systems.

Required Skills

Effective team player.
Ability to multitask while meeting safety standards.
Strong communication and computer skills.
Basic welding, soldering, and fabrication skills.

Preferred Skills

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Requirements

Ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
Capable of lifting and transporting heavy objects.
Endurance for prolonged physical tasks.
Flexible availability for shifts and schedules.
