Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director of Medical Staff Services is responsible for management of all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and department goals.
The Director ensures cost effective systems are in place to support the business of the department while considering business trends, resources and changes in customers' needs.
This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians and employees, volunteers and vendors.
The Department Director works with senior management in meeting facility goals.
Independently conduct all Medical Staff related business and projects as necessary.
Coordinates activities/meetings, departmental and committee, of the Medical Staff.
Obtains documentation supporting each application to the Medical Staff.
Assists the CEO, COO, Chief of Staff, Medical Staff Departments and Committees when appropriate.
Coordination and distribution of all information required to maintain effective communication among the members of the Medical Staff.
Ensures compliance with all laws and regulatory relations to Medical Staff files and membership.

What qualifications you will need:

Bachelor's Degree.
Post Graduate Degree (Preferred).
Knowledge of state, federal, JCAHO regulations.
Previous Department Director or Manager with at least 3 – 5 years' of experience in role.
