Your tasks:

  • Innovative expansion of the program area
  • Acquisition of strong authors and maintaining contacts
  • Concept development with a keen sense for the market and target audience
  • Project management from idea to final approval for printing
  • Text editing (manuscript proofreading, U4 texts, etc.) in Word and InDesign
  • Briefing for layouts, covers, and other materials
  • Reviewing submissions and international licensing offers
  • Acquiring service providers and scouting trends at trade fairs

Your profile:
- (First) experience as an editor/product manager in the field of painting and drawing or a similar position

  • Enthusiasm for taking initiative and responsibility
  • Comprehensive market knowledge and excellent sense for trends
  • Enjoyment of working in a team and strong communication skills
  • A sense for design and texts that inspire
  • Creativity and strong conceptual skills
  • Contacts with influential authors and experienced service providers
  • Good knowledge of English and experience with InDesign are advantageous


Starting in April 2024 as a parental leave replacement (with the option for permanent employment) - full-time/part-time with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
