You will...

  • Coordinate all procurement activities for all components within the scope of development projects for new products until series launch.
  • Solicit and evaluate offers for all components in the project, both technically and commercially.
  • Conduct supplier selection for all components in the project and negotiate prices.
  • Collaborate closely with project management and R&D to align on feasibility, effort, costs, and timeline.
  • Manage product changes/re-designs (phase in - phase out).
  • Implement cost optimization measures during the product development process.

What you ideally bring:

  • A successfully completed degree in technical business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field of study, or a comparable education.
  • Professional experience in internationally oriented procurement of electronic and electromechanical components.
  • Ideally, knowledge of markets, suppliers, and manufacturers of electronic components.
  • You are a skilled negotiator and have a professional approach to internal and external contacts, with convincing communication skills. You also have a strong intercultural competence.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
