- Manage the full purchasing cycle including generating requisitions, maintaining purchase orders, goods receipt, and payment using Oracle and ASCP.
- Review, prioritize, schedule and expedite the delivery of material components to meet target dates and prevent stock shortages.
- Plan and collaborate to develop weekly Production Schedule to support customer demand ensuring high levels of delivery performance and optimization of resources.
- Manage supplier performance, provide supplier feedback, and manage corrective actions.
- Identify and manage risk to supply and delivery of customer orders.
- Engage cross-functional teams to address and resolve overall delivery issues.
- Support quoting process with suppliers as needed.
- Optimize inventory investment to provide target service levels at lowest cost.
- Effectively manage excess and obsolete inventories.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and performance through recurring root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Work with accounts payable to investigate and resolve invoice issues.
- Develop, track, and report key performance metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product launches and operational improvement projects.
- Partner with the strategic sourcing team to support cost reduction and risk mitigation initiatives
- Maintain Oracle master data for suppliers and SKUs.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. (Preferred)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing and inventory management
- Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong negotiation skills, with a focus on cost reduction and supplier performance improvement.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred but not required.
