Your responsibilities will include:
Mapping of the bat species group:
- Independently conducting bat mappings in the field and handling mobile detectors
- Identifying common species based on the modulated sounds of the detector
- Call analysis/data evaluation using identification software
- Familiarity with common guidelines for offshore bat surveys
- Preparation of mapping reports
Note:
This position is advertised for multiple locations: Hamburg, Rostock, and Greifswald.
You are a good fit for us if you:
- Have proven long-term experience as an onshore mapper
- Have proven experience as a mapper of bats offshore (especially at wind turbines)
- Are willing to travel throughout Germany during the mapping period
- Want to integrate well into a team
- Are physically fit
- Have a valid Class B driver's license (car) is essential

- Additional knowledge in the field of environmental impact assessments
