    Description

    Eaton Utility Executive Sales Engineer

    Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is looking for a Utility Executive Sales Engineer. This is a home-based position, and candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Charlotte, NC location to be considered.

    What You'll Be Doing:
    • Develop and execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and requirements
    • Quote projects and negotiate correct pricing
    • Prepare sales presentations to create product understanding
    • Build relationships with key customers
    • Work with factories to resolve technical issues
    • Canvas the market to gain insight
    • Assist the team in a coordinated sales effort
    • Obtain ongoing training on functional and technical skills

    Qualifications:

    Required:
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
    • Minimum seven years of electrical or utility industry sales experience
    • Valid and unrestricted driver's license
    • Must be eligible to work in the United States
    Preferred:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
    • 10 years of electrical industry sales experience
    • Sales experience within the utility market
    • Channel management experience
    • Experience with consulting engineers
    • Microsoft and CRM software experience
    • Experience managing distributors and partners

    Compensation:

    The total compensation range is $138,750 - $203,500, including a base pay with sales performance incentives.
