    About the Job:

    At Human Power BG, we are proud to offer our expertise to connect talented individuals with leading companies in Bulgaria. We are currently seeking a C/C++ Embedded Software Engineer with Linux & Hardware Interface Experience to join our team.

    The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $110,000 to $125,000.

    Job Description:

    We are looking for a dedicated individual to collaborate with our team of senior engineers in the design and development of software and hardware components for various products including single board computers, environmental control systems, measurement devices, and LED sign message controllers. The ideal candidate will play a key role in all phases of product development from design and firmware creation to final release and post-launch support.

    • #1 Importance: Develop code following a structured process encompassing project analysis, design, development, review, testing, and deployment.
    • Take ownership of specific code bases.
    • Create software features that align with product specifications.
    • Draft technical and functional specifications.
    • Debug existing products, innovate new solutions, and stay updated on networking protocols and development practices.
    • Conduct product validation against set standards.
    • Collaborate with production and customer support teams.
    • Prepare test documentation and validation programs.
    AREAS OF EXPOSURE:
    • Proficiency in embedded and higher-level programming (C++).
    • Experience with embedded firmware and real-time systems.
    • Knowledge of circuit and system design.
    • Familiarity with microcontrollers, SOC architectures, and various communication protocols.
    • Understanding of design for testability principles.
    Qualifications:
    • Proficiency in C++ within Linux and hardware environments.
    • Understanding of networking protocols and software design.
    • Knowledge of CPLD and FPGA processing.
    • Hands-on troubleshooting skills using lab equipment.
    • Ability to translate requirements into technical specifications and create test documentation.
    • Experience in designing, testing, and supporting production software.
    • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong teamwork skills and flexibility in working with others.
    • Practical experience with C and C++ in embedded systems.
    • Familiarity with software development in Linux and hardware environments.
