    Job Title: Technical Architect - Cloud Computing

    Department Summary:

    The Special Projects Department within MITRE works closely with government sponsors in the space warfighting and acquisition domains. They are responsible for integrating new technologies and software applications to enhance the resilience of space enterprise infrastructure and enhance the Command and Control (C2) system.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Implement DevSecOps processes to automate software delivery and ensure product security
    • Develop a cloud computing roadmap aligning with stakeholders' vision
    • Lead efforts to integrate cyber operations capabilities with space mission systems
    • Provide technical guidance on digital transformation and AWS cloud capabilities
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust architectural solutions
    • Engage with sponsors to maximize project value and ensure technical integrity
    • Participate in decision making on technical investments and strategic initiatives
    • Perform duties on-site in Colorado Springs, CO

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum 10 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields
    • Strong understanding of cloud architectures and Site Reliability Engineering principles
    • Experience in Software Architecture, DevSecOps, and IT systems
    • Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Expertise in Software Architecture, AWS Cloud, or DevOps/DevSecOps
    • Familiarity with government partner missions
    • Experience with Microsoft's Azure cloud solutions
    • Advanced degree in computer science field
    • TS/SCI level security clearance

    Salary Range:

    $157,000 - $235,000 Annual

    Onsite
