- Minimum 5 years of experience in providing leadership and project management direction for IT Infrastructure in a hospital setting. Trade licenses are advantageous.
- Experience in collaborating with planning design and construction service provider networks.

- Strong grasp of project budgets & control.
- Experience and insight into construction projects involving a substantial Information Technology element.
- Management experience in implementing IT infrastructure in operational hospitals.
- Experience and awareness of construction project phasing and disruption in an acute healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated track record of success in previous hospital projects. Proficient in management reporting to align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Information Technology, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience with a solid background in Hospital Construction and IT infrastructure Project Management.

ResponsibilitiesRemote Opportunity
Managing National Real Estate Services (NRES) for area design and construction projects or IT Infrastructure Projects; overseeing capital project planning, design, and construction activities; coordinating area capital plans with facilities; ensuring efficient use of the Preferred Provider Network; enhancing quality outcomes; promoting effective use of Project Delivery Model (PDP) guidelines and tools; maintaining relationships with relevant authorities; providing communication support; aiding in drafting project scope/budgets and monitoring project expenses. The role holds direct accountability for CommonSpirit Health capital projects exceeding $5 million. Additionally, providing advisory support to area hospitals with projects under $5 million that are intricate or require coordination with larger projects.
The Area Manager executes responsibilities by upholding the utmost ethical and moral standards, prioritizing Common Spirit Health's best interests, and wholeheartedly embracing Common Spirit Health's Mission, Philosophy, and core values of Collaboration, CommonSpirit, Excellence, Justice, and Stewardship. Active engagement in fulfilling the mission of Common Spirit Health, and the objectives of the National Real Estate Services Department, is essential. The incumbent is expected to demonstrate behavior in line with the Core Values and Behavioral Competencies for Leadership of CommonSpirit Health.
This role directly reports to the Division or System Director of Design and Construction for Common Spirit Health capital project planning, design, and construction activities, performance, and administrative needs. Interaction with the System Vice President, Design and Construction, may be necessary. Additionally, collaboration with individual hospital project teams for capital project decision-making, coordination, communication, and status updates.
