The Lebenshilfe Erlangen-Höchstadt offers individual support for people with intellectual disabilities in all aspects of life. This includes the area of children and adolescents, which also includes the school preparation facilities with an integrated day care center (SVE). There, we provide holistic support and care for children aged 3 to 6 with disabilities, developmental delays, as well as language and behavioral abnormalities.

We are currently seeking a qualified professional for the school component:

a special education teacher (m/f/d), a special education support teacher (m/f/d),

a (social) pedagogue (m/f/d), an educator (m/f/d)

for a full-time position of 38.5 hours per week

Your responsibilities:

  • Pedagogical leadership of the group in the SVE component
  • Close collaboration and coordination with the group leader of the day care center as well as with the responsible support centers
  • Development and implementation of the support concept
  • Preparation of reports for the funding agency
  • Collaboration with medical and educational specialist services
  • Assumption of household and nursing tasks
