Do you have a passion for numbers and analysis? Then we are looking for you on behalf of our client as an accounts payable accountant (m/f/d) in a direct placement.

Our client has been serving the needs of its customers in the field of pipeline construction for over 50 years.

Responsibilities:

Independent invoice verification recording, coding and booking of accounts payable invoices in compliance with tax and commercial regulations
Posting of ongoing business transactions
Preparation and execution of account reconciliations for cost, inventory and income statement accounts
Daily work in multiple booking/cost accounting areas
Ensuring timely payments and preparation and execution of payment runs
Maintenance of master data and accounts
Preparation/support for yearend closing activities in the accounts payable area
Collaboration and optimization of processes and systems with a focus on digitization
Communication and collaboration with internal and external interfaces
In case of representation/support, assisting the accounting team in daily operations

Qualifications:

Commercial education or a comparable qualification with professional experience in financial accounting
At least 3 years of professional experience in accounts payable accounting or a similar area, preferably in a serviceoriented company
Good computer skills, especially in MS Office applications
Strong affinity for numbers
Reliable and careful work style, as well as resilience and flexibility
