    As a Battery Electrolyte Manager, you will spearhead progress in battery performance through the creation of inventive polymer and liquid electrolytes.

    Your position is central to propelling state-of-the-art electrolyte technology and uncovering fresh applications within our fundamental platform.

    Your duties involve crafting electrolytes for various battery chemistries and playing a key role in shaping the scientific and strategic vision.


    Responsbilities:


    Lead a team of electrolyte development scientists and engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to ensure project success and professional development of team members.

    Fulfill the role of an internal specialist in battery electrolytes, providing valuable insights.
    Formulate engineering strategies for polymer and liquid electrolytes, targeting specific battery performance characteristics.
    Engage (and mentor) in hands-on work in the lab, including electrolyte formulation and battery testing.
    Provide mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
    Assist in the preparation and execution of government grants.


    Qualifications:


    Possess a PhD in a STEM field with experience in an industrial R&D setting related to polymers, batteries, and/or liquid electrolytes.

    Extensive experience in electrolyte development, with a minimum of 5 years industry expertise.
    Demonstrate profound electrochemical knowledge.
    Showcase scientific accomplishments as a hands-on researcher.
    Comfortably handle advanced materials and battery systems.
    Exhibit excellent communication skills and collaborative teamwork.
    Demonstrate ambition with a desire to take on increased responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
