Job Summary

The Systems Administrator is responsible for building and operational support of new and existing Physical and Virtual systems onsite and in Microsoft Azure. The candidate should have expertise in Azure, IT Infrastructures, Windows Domains, and virtual platforms, in addition to experience working with mission-critical Production systems. Plexeon is looking for a service oriented, self-driven and motivated System Administrator who will provide system design and support for Cloud and Client Infrastructures.

Key Qualifications

· Minimum 4-5 years system and network administration in an IT or MSP organization

· Certifications in Microsoft Azure and Roles

· Expertise in the design and management of Domains, DFS, Active Directory and Group Policy

· Must be detail oriented and work on multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision

· Effective analytical abilities to address performance and reliability issues

· Assumes responsibility to ensure issues/concerns will be addressed and monitors them through conclusion

· Thorough experience with Azure Entra AD, VMWare/VCenter, deployments and automation/configuration management, and MS Windows. Datto RMM; Competent in creating scripts to automate production systems (Powershell and Python)

· Apply technology and innovation to improve efficiency and solve problems.

· Candidate must exhibit a strong work ethic and commitment to provision of outstanding quality service and integrity

Position Responsibilities

· Monitors the daily health of the overall IT Infrastructure for on-site and Azure environment

· Hardware implementations and upgrade server software, apply patches and critical updates

· Full oversight of Active Directory, role-based security, and group policy management. Ability to fully understand, configure, and troubleshoot connectivity

· Evaluate, configure and maintenance of Cisco, HP and other IT equipment and platform

· Must have excellent verbal and communication skills for interaction with Executives and Physicians, as well as the ability to prioritize and manage your time

· Provide support for installation and configuration of new applications in a 24/7 environment

· Field and onsite work in NY metro area

· Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of software issues on various applications, while interfacing with appropriate vendors, as needed.

· Maintains deployment and continuity standards for existing and new systems

· Research and implement new technologies

Education

· BS Information Systems, CS or relevant major
