How does a tram work? What components are needed and how can they be repaired?

In the apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician, you will receive the answers and learn everything about:

the manual and mechanical processing of materials
the assembly of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components into mechatronic systems
the installation, commissioning, and electronic control of manufactured components and equipment parts for rail vehicles
the measurement and testing of systems
the maintenance of facilities.

After your multi-month introductory phase, you will be assigned to various workshops. There, you will gradually learn the skills and knowledge for your apprenticeship. The theoretical knowledge will be taught in block lessons at vocational school. In addition, we offer internal lessons to deepen your vocational school education. By participating in cross-departmental projects, you will get to know Ruhrbahn even better and promote your team building skills.
