    Description

    Kavaliro has partnered with an excellent, fast growing client who is seeking a fulltime, direct hire, Staff Accountant in Boca Raton, FL.


    ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring tax compliance with tax agencies by preparing in coordination with company tax accountants the timely preparation, review and timely filing and payments of federal and state tax returns, sales tax returns, property and tangible returns and other company tax filings.

    Administers of fixed asset module including the recording of changes in fixed assets, reconciling to general ledger, and coordinating physical inventory, and providing reports as needed.

    Records and reconciles and monitors foreign currency evaluation, long/short term debt/leases classification, freight claims.

    Reconciles all transactions pertaining to revenue and cost recognition, including but not limited to performing sales and cost margin reconciliation, customer rebates, royalties, customers' freight-out, miscellaneous invoices and commissions reports.

    Conducts mid-level general-ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and identify and correct incorrectly recorded transactions.

    QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting.
    5 + years of experience in cycle accounting preferred.
    SAP preferred
    Advanced level in Excel and Microsoft software.
    Spanish is a plus
