    About the Role

    This role will work closely with our global events design team and your marketing communications teammates in the Americas to bring our MarComms campaigns to life by designing memorable, engaging in-person events for our clients and broker partners. This includes everything from the initial concept and invitation to the experience and follow up. No two challenges are the same as you support stakeholders across multiple areas of our b2b business including traditional Reinsurance, our new Reinsurance Solutions group and Corporate Solutions which markets direct insurance solutions to large corporates.

    Key responsibilities include:

  • Craft compelling content and design events that ignite conversations, generate leads, and elevate Swiss Re's brand.
  • Leverage your digital marketing expertise to execute personalized, automated digital campaigns, and use data to optimize performance and deliver value.
  • Oversee tracking and measurement efforts, working closely with the Global analytics team to develop metrics that gauge the effectiveness of campaigns and events and drive continuous improvement.
  • Event Design responsibilities include:

  • Takes lead in planning key external events across the Americas and collaborate with marketing comms colleagues to ensure seamless campaigns.
  • Provide creative support during event production and collaborate with event execution team to ensure all details are covered.
  • Manage and communciate the event playbook, acting as a producer at our Top Tier events, both onsite and offsite.
  • Ensure all event design and materials align with business objectives, adhere to global design concepts and are adaptive to local market needs.

    About You

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in marketing and/or communications, and experience in advertising and PR, including digital marketing.
  • Proven experience in event design and management, with a track record of delivering successful events – both in person and virtually.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to transform ideas into visually stunning experiences.
  • Excel in storytelling, writing, and editing, with a solid grasp of end-to-end, multi-channel publishing processes.
  • Possess proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, including MS Dynamics Marketing, and digital campaign management platforms such as LinkedIn campaign manager, Hootsuite, and Piwik Pro.
  • Native or fluent English speaker. Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
  • It's also important that you are a strong project manager, able to work independently and are solutions oriented. You'll work with people at all levels of the company, so relationships and people skills are essential and since you're part of a very collaborative team, a "can do" attitude is key.

    For Armonk, NY and New York City the estimated base salary range for this position is $88,000 to $149,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
