Hello there, I'm Richard, and I'm a passionate computer information systems graduate with a keen interest in UX design. Although I may not have had professional experience in the field yet, I've spent countless hours working on personal projects to hone my skills.

From a young age, I have been fascinated with how technology can solve complex problems and create seamless experiences for users. Pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems seemed like the logical next step for me. During my academic journey, I learned how to analyze, design, and implement information systems that are effective and efficient.

However, as I delved deeper into the field, I found myself drawn to the human-centered aspect of technology. This led me to explore the world of UX design and how it can make technology more accessible and intuitive for users.

Since then, I've been working tirelessly on personal projects to sharpen my skills and gain practical experience. I have designed websites, mobile apps, and other digital products that are both beautiful and user-friendly. These projects have not only allowed me to apply my knowledge but have also given me the opportunity to understand user behavior and design solutions that meet their needs.

I'm a problem-solver at heart, and I believe that UX design is an excellent way to address complex challenges. I have experience working on individual projects and leading UX design for a mobile app and two web platforms. I have designed e-commerce platforms, responsive web platforms, and streamlined mobile app processes, all resulting in improved customer satisfaction and retention. My experience in these projects allowed me to work within all phases of the design process and deliver pixel-perfect implementation of design comps across multiple breakpoints.

In my previous experience, I have created visually compelling advertising collateral, developed and executed data-driven email marketing campaigns, and synthesized complex industry trends and market research into actionable insights. My interpersonal and communication skills have allowed me to foster collaborative and supportive work environments, and I have exercised strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities in dynamic work environments.

I am excited to apply for the User Experience Design Intern position at your organization. With my Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and my recent Google's UX Design Certificate, I believe I have the skills and experience to contribute to your team.

My relevant coursework and certification have given me practical skills in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design. I have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and have gained proficiency in design software such as Figma and Adobe XD. My ability to interpret user feedback and translate it into design decisions that improve the user experience allows me to design interfaces that are intuitive and easy to use.
