Stephen Brown

Hello, my name is Stephen, and I am 35 years old.  I have two kids, who mean everything to me. I love to play video games, hike, camping, fishing, and spending time with my kids.  Aside from all that I like to spend time coding and building applications which I am really passionate about.  My primary language I work with is C#, which I feel I have gotten pretty good at.  I work with many other technologies as well.

I have been working with Microsoft technologies for many years, and have been coding for about 5 years.  I have built many applications from scratch.  My most recent application is an online coding school to train adults to learn coding, and to help them be successful in the IT industry.  The application was built from scratch using asp.net.  C#, and sql back end.  HTML, CSS, JavaScript front end.  It is still a work in progress, and constantly being updated to make it as user friendly as possible to the user.  I am familiar with visual studio, git, visual studio code,, react, and more technologies.

I also worked for American Airlines for 6 months as a contractor, which did expire in September 2022.  I worked there as a .Net developer working with C#, sql, XAML, WCF.

I am a learner, as I am constantly learning new technologies, and want to learn more to become a better developer, and to grow more as a professional.  I am very hard working, and will work until I can give the best quality possible to the client

I have completed my bachelor degree in computer science from DeVry University back in 2012.  I am also working on receiving some certifications in different technologies as of right now
