- Perform general nursing care to patient
- Greet patients and prepare them for physical examinations. Obtain height/weight, blood pressure and medical history information.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Observe, record and report patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to the provider.
- Assists in the orientation of new clinic nursing staff.
- Position will work in all areas of both clinics.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
- The following are required within 6 months of hire (or first available course):
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- If working in Inreach or Internal Medicine Clinic where stress tests are performed.
- Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA)
- If working in Memory Care Clinic
- The following are required within 6 months of hire (or first available course) if working in
- Federal Drug Screens (Escreen and Profile drug tests, to independently administer to patients)
- Breath Alcohol Tests (to independently administer to patients)
- Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (COAHC, audiology)
- National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (pulmonary function tests)
