Position Description
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from inception to completion, with limited supervision. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with customers, manufacturers, and BDL's sales team. The Project Manager will be adept at problem-solving, maintaining accurate project data, and ensuring effective communication with clients and internal/external sales teams.

Responsibilities

· Building relationships with customers, manufacturers, and BDL's salespeople and sales representatives

· Problem solve while accurately utilizing, maintaining, and tracking project data

· Communicate regularly with clients as well as inside/outside sales team to understand and remain up to date on the requirements of each project

· Perform material take-offs

· Submittal creation

· Produce add order quotations

· Maintain knowledge of current capabilities

· Perform order entry, problem resolution, material management, and project closeout

· Other duties as assigned by manager

Skillful in selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new concepts.

Excellent math skills for precise project calculations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Blue Beam, and Outlook.

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience
At least four years of experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and project management tasks.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in lighting project management.

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Regular days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. although because of the nature of our partners in other countries associates may occasionally be scheduled to join calls on evenings or weekends.
