- Building relationships with customers, manufacturers, and BDL's salespeople and sales representatives.
- Problem solve while accurately utilizing, maintaining, and tracking project data.
- Communicate regularly with clients as well as inside/outside sales team to understand and remain up to date on the requirements of each project.
- Perform material take-offs, submittal creation, and produce add order quotations.
- Perform order entry, problem resolution, material management, and project closeout.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements, establishing realistic and achievable project deliverables.
- Lead project teams in executing project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing issues to keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact project timelines and deliverables.
- Establish and enforce project standards, ensuring deliverables meet quality expectations.
- Conduct project reviews and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial goals are met.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with department managers to allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure that team members have the tools and support needed to succeed in their roles.
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Reporting to the President, the Lead Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, meeting organizational goals and client expectations.
