- The service at Harlem Hospital is an academic practice sponsored by the Columbia University Medical Center
- Outpatient care, clinical supervision of fellows, residents and medical students
- Practice has daily patient load & time with patient/quality patient care is promoted
- Weekly team meeting to encourage collaboration and new ideas
- The practice is a research site for diabetes & fully staffed with support staff such as social workers, clinical pharmacists & dietician
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine
