Support the team of our client in Hobgood, NC as a customs declarant (m/f/d) in the food industry.

Your responsibility includes the smooth handling of customs matters, including the application of HS codes, cooperation with authorities, and documentation.

The position is available immediately in full-time as part of direct placement.

Your new responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the correct handling of customs matters in the food industry
  • Application and knowledge of HS codes in import/export
  • Close cooperation with the veterinary office and other relevant authorities
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and procedures
  • Documentation and processing of customs and shipping documents to ensure a smooth process

Your profile includes:

  • Vocational training in forwarding, logistics, foreign trade, or similar fields
  • Indepth knowledge of customs law and regulations, as well as professional experience as a customs declarant, preferably in the food industry
  • Experience in cooperation with the veterinary office
  • Independent work style and high reliability
  • Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
