Job DescriptionLogistics Coordinator

Our client is thriving logistics company dedicated to efficiently moving goods across warehouses and distribution centers. We pride ourselves on delivering top-notch service and ensuring prompt shipment delivery to our valued customers. As our operations continue to grow, we're on the lookout for a meticulous and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This is a Direct Hire position located near Pleasant Prairie WI.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule truckload shipments to designated warehouses, ensuring precise planning and on-time delivery.
Organize and schedule import container shipments into dock calendars for various warehouses, optimizing operational efficiency.
Master Transportation Management System (TMS) processes to effectively manage and process shipments.
Familiarize yourself with routing guides and ensure adherence to established procedures and regulations.
Handle export documentation, maintaining accuracy and compliance with international shipping regulations.
Monitor the status of import containers and provide daily updates on their progress to stakeholders.
Assist in quoting and arranging domestic truckload shipments, including outbound, inbound, and transfers, to meet customer requirements.
Manage call tags and oversee return Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests, ensuring a smooth returns process.
File freight claims and provide timely updates for shipments with small package, LTL, and truckload providers, promptly resolving any issues.
Acquire proficiency in material transfer processes to facilitate seamless movement between warehouses, optimizing inventory management.
Confirm the departure of all transfer loads accurately, ensuring visibility throughout the supply chain process.
Undertake other duties as assigned by the manager, contributing to the overall success of the logistics team.

Requirements:

Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office/Outlook for effective data management and communication.
Strong mathematical skills for precise truckload planning and analysis.
Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally.
Ability to plan, organize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Capability to handle interruptions and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining productivity.
Competency in understanding and interpreting common shipping documentation requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Job Details:

Direct Hire
Monday-Friday, 100% onsite
Pay is $55k-$60k, depending on experience
