Basic Qualifications:
12+ year experience with SATCOMExperience with designing and implementing LANs and VLANsKnowledge of current and future Force tactical and strategic military communications networks, as well as the architecture, protocols, security, network management, and physics underlying these systemsKnowledge of virtualization and storage technologies, including VMware, EMC, NetApp, Microsoft, Dell, or HPAbility to assist in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing systems, including the WIN-Tactical Network, portions of the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN), and the Global Information Grid (GIG)

Ability to gather mission needs statements, operational requirements Capability Development Documents (ORCDD), and Capability Production Documents (CPD) and translate requirements into technical solutions that are standards-based and cost efficientAbility to lead and facilitate technical discussions with internal and external organizationsAbility to provide technical expertise at field locations as requiredSecret clearanceBachelor's degreeAdditional Qualifications:

Knowledge of Converged Ethernet Over IP (EOIP) network Ability to develop network architecture for adjacent, higher, and lower units, as well as for allied nations, government agencies, and commercial service interfacesAbility to support technical tasks in the integration of Data, Voice, and Video in the Tactical Network, engineering, and technical documentationAbility to assist in the development of technical requirements, specifications, plans and reports, software and hardware engineering, preparation of independent assessments, systems engineering, technical expertise at fielding locations, test and evaluation, architectural and interoperability support, and quality engineeringPossession of excellent oral and written communication skills Bachelor's degree in EngineeringClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220, annualized USD).

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
