    Employment Type: Full Time

    Wage Range: $20.00- $ 32.00

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Program Coordinator assists the Director with the day-to-day delivery of Independent Living resident activities/programs.
    • Assist in the plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate of the community's programs.
    • Encourage residents to participate in activities/events and host special events when needed.
    • Ensure the arranging of all AV equipment setup & take down for all required events.
    • Coordinates all resident run game tournaments.
    • Organize and arrange all subscriptions set up by the Program Department. This includes but not limited to: purchasing &exchange of tickets, sign-up sheets, advertising, payment arrangements and accounting procedures.
    • Participate in the planning of the yearly Health Fair, as well as any other scheduled property event i.e. Anniversary Celebration, Senior Olympics, etc..
    • Other tasks might assign by the Program Director
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High school graduate or equivalent. BA degree preferred.
    • Two years or more work experience in the senior industry or work-related field.
    • Desire and enjoys working with the elderly
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Possess written and verbal skill for effective communication and the ability to facilitate group presentations and introduction of speakers/vendors.
    • Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills Microsoft Office (Windows, Power Point, Publisher, Outlook, Excel).
    • Ability to work weekends, evenings, Holidays when needed.
    • Must have excellent organization and time management skills, and the ability to coordinate and plan for each event.
