German Maritime Museum - Leibniz Institute for Maritime History (DSM), Bremerhaven:

The German Maritime Museum - Leibniz Institute for Maritime History (DSM) is one of eight research museums within the Leibniz Association.

The exhibition and research program focuses on the study of maritime technologies and the relationship between humans and the sea.

With around 100 employees and trainees, as well as approximately 8000 square meters of exhibition space, it is one of the largest maritime museums in Europe.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for
a

Director's Assistant (m/f/d) full-time:

The position will be filled as soon as possible. The position is 39.2 hours per week and will be remunerated according to pay group 9b TV-L. The position is initially limited to 2 years, with the possibility of extension afterwards.

The temporary employment is based on the regulations of the Part-Time and Fixed-Term Employment Act (TzBfG). The position is generally suitable for part-time and job sharing.


Your main tasks:


  • Office management for the directorate
  • Independent handling of general inquiries
  • Independent writing and correspondence in German and English; handling of dictation (digital)
  • Coordination and preparation of appointments and business trips for the directorate
  • Organization of events with a strategic focus for the DSM
  • Proof
