    Affiliated Monitoring is seeking a talented and motivated HR Assistant to join our Human Resources department. This position will be an integral part of the Human Resources team by serving as a point of contact for driving employee centric events and supporting the HR operations team.

    We are seeking a personable HR Assistant who is ready to kick start their Human Resources career. This role will be based out of our Union, NJ office, with the option of a hybrid work schedule. As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will be responsible for owning and executing employee-centric events, wellness, and recognition celebrations.

    About The Team:

    The Human Resources team is a collaborative team focused on supporting employees and managers in a growing industry. We look to ensure our actions and solutions continually evolve to meet the needs of employees and the business. The team drives toward a people development culture.

    What you'll do:

    • Manage all employee events and celebrations across 4 locations.
    • Serve as the lead for communication for all HR initiatives.
    • Conduct new hire orientation.
    • Assist with employee needs; Support ad-hoc projects.
    • Maintain employee data in our HRIS system and HR filing needs.
    • Support various sites; Occasionally travel across 4 locations.
    Requirements:

    Success in this role looks like:

    • Creatively and strategically manage all company events to drive an inclusive and engaging company culture
    • Manage quality and accurate communication for all HR needs across the company
    • Agility to move and pivot topics, ideas and focus to ensure on-time, in-budget and complaint actions

    What you'll bring:

    • Strong communication skills: both written and verbal with the ability to communicate across various levels within the organization
    • Excellent organization and time management skills, ability to manage multiple project or events simultaneously
    • Attention to detail and excellent follow-up?
    • Ability to function as a true team player and perform in a fast-paced environment?
    • Bachelor's Degree required?
