Responsibilities:
- Post cash transactions (ACH, credit card payments) and reconcile bank accounts.
- Assist with entering invoices, resolving discrepancies, and issuing checks.
- Discuss with the Controller the status of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) aging on a weekly basis.
- Prepare monthly analysis or aging reports for AR and AP.
- Generate daily invoices.
- Update and maintain customer and vendor profiles.
- Review new customer setup forms, net terms, and required documents.
- Create new vendors and customers in the ERP system.
- Assist the Controller with monthly, quarterly, and yearend closing entries and reports.
- Perform other duties reasonably associated with the above essential functions and additional duties assigned by the Controller.
- Some HR duties and responsibilities; willingness to train.
Qualifications:
- Accounting degree preferred (Bachelor's or Associate's).
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Positive attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Excellent followup skills with acute attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information and documents appropriately.
