    Description
    MAJOR FUNCTION:

    Operates main switchboard and assists customers with general information needs. Employee will be expected to be an active member of the Retail Banking team and participate in division meetings and promotions offered by the bank. May perform a variety of routine clerical duties as workload allows.

    RESPONSIBILITES:
    1. Open switchboard and maintain general procedures for opening and closing of business each day. Depending on needs of the division, employees should be prepared to work longer or on special projects initiated by this division.
    2. Sort and deliver insurance and loan notices to appropriate officers daily.
    3. Active retailer for promotion of tickets, buttons, etc.., for all community events which the bank offers. All general money taking, and bookkeeping is done at this position.
    4. Order checks for customers.
    5. Responsible for recording all in-house Federal Express information for usage. Answer customer inquiries concerning Federal Express and refer them to 800 toll free number when necessary. Balance Federal Express statement.
    6. Review daily newspaper and cut out obituaries from the Williston Herald paper for deposit account, safe deposit, and loan areas. Watch for notice to creditors and estate claims for loan division. Responsible for our You're In the News article. Mail out personal and community event cards.
    7. Be general information and out calling source for employees on all meetings and/or events for employees and for community events our Bank is involved with.
    8. Post and remind stations on Holiday signs one week prior to closing day.
    9. Job includes a variety of computer tasks done for various departments and officers such as maintaining and printing out lists or reports done on an as needed basis. Update and publish internal employee telephone list as needed.
    10. Responsible for receiving and distributing messages to employees.
    11. Answer all Estate Letter inquiries received by Bank.
    12. Prepare Dollarsaurus Newsletter and Dollarsaurus birthday cards.
    13. Put together loan coupon books to be mailed each day.
    14. Staff is required to be flexible with their weekly hours due to workflow and other unique situations that may arise.
    15. Complete all initial and annual training requirements as outlined by ASBT.
    16. Perform all other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives, and responsibilities of the front desk function.
    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Position requires a person who is comfortable with handling both customer and employee inquiries.
    2. Excellent communication skills.
    3. Telephone courtesy, patience and professionalism are required in this position.
    4. Experience with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Publisher, Excel.
    5. Employee will be seated at a very open and busy location and will be expected to represent the Bank with poise and confidence.
    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
    1. Confidentiality and tactfulness in dealing with bank and customer information is mandatory.
    2. Ability to conduct relationships with co-workers, customers, the community, and the overall public in a manner which will enhance the bank's image and comprehensive marketing effort.
    3. Will be called upon from time to time to participate with community organizations and projects.
