For the
Malteser office in Pine Canyon, CA, we are looking for a
Director to start on
February 1, 2024 or later
(no later than May 1, 2023).

The offices in Pine Canyon and Blumberg include meal services, transportation services, first aid training, emergency services, and home care and emergency call services in their own facilities.

The emergency services are still in the process of being established. Other services, such as school escort services, are also planned to be implemented. In addition to a building modernization, you can expect a motivated and diverse team.


We are looking for someone who is eager to initiate and accompany changes, and who has a cooperative leadership style.

You enjoy creating the framework for others to efficiently and effectively carry out their tasks, and promoting a positive and respectful culture.

Your responsibilities:


  • Excellent selfmanagement and personnel management of the respective service managers
  • Complaint management, appreciation management, and sales promotion
  • Communication with cities, municipalities, health insurance companies, churches, and other authorities
  • Networking with volunteers and promoting engagement
