The perception of the environment plays a central role in autonomous driving and driver assistance systems. By using appropriate sensors (radar, camera, lidar, etc.), the data required for algorithms is generated and transmitted. Therefore, communication between devices is crucial for testing and developing corresponding algorithms and control units.


Your responsibilities:

  • Development of FPGA and software components for automated driving and serial protocols
  • Organization and implementation of projects/subprojects in the field of highly automated driving
  • Collaboration with our development department and the departments of our national and international customers

Your profile:

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or another technical or scientific field
  • Profound knowledge in working with FPGAs (VHDL or HLS, etc.)
  • Experience in developing and programming embedded systems (C/C++, Linux)
  • Knowledge of driver assistance systems and their sensors (cameras, radar, lidar, etc.) is desirable
