    Description
    Busy structural engineering and building envelope consulting firm has an opening for a Structural Engineer.

    This is a fully remote opportunity and entry level candidates are also encouraged to apply Duties:


    • Perform structural calculations (STAAD, MathCAD, etc.)
    • Analyze/design miscellaneous exterior elements (sunshades, guardrails, wind screens, wall panels, etc.)
    • Perform analysis to determine stresses and deflection
    • Analyze/design internal connections and anchorage to building structure
    • 80% office and 20% field work (nationwide)

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Structural focus preferred)
    • 0-5 years of structural design experience
    • Experience with building envelope design/materials (aluminum, glass, steel, masonry, wood)
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD, STAAD and/or MathCAD preferred
