    West Power Energy (WPE) is a top-tier engineering consulting company, specializing primarily in power generation, transmission, and distribution. At West Power Energy, we focus on offering engineering services to utility companies, consultants, and contractors involved in designing and building power generation facilities, transmission lines, and substations in the United States and Canada.
    We are currently seeking a Team Lead for the Transmission team in Turkey to join our Global Delivery Division in WPE. The ideal candidate for this role should be enthusiastic about leading a high-performing Engineering team that caters to utility clients in North America.
    Job Description:
    In this role, you will utilize your T&D experience and leadership skills to develop, optimize, and expand our Transmission team in Turkey to ensure top-notch engineering designs. Reporting to the Vice President of Transmission Engineering & Global Delivery, your responsibilities will include:
    • Building high-performing teams through recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention.
    • Leading the Istanbul team to create an engaged and accountable work environment.
    • Mentoring the team technically and ensuring quality performance.
    • Developing and implementing systems to optimize engineering functions.
    • Conducting performance appraisals and setting goals for team members.
    • Collaborating with the Project Management Organization to track project status and quality performance.
    • Establishing strong working relationships across North America and Turkey.
    • Managing office policies and procedures for team productivity.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college.
    • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
    • Professional Engineering (P.E.) license.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to lead, influence, and manage change positively.
    • Strong industry perspective and technical abilities.
    • Fluency in Turkish and English.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in tower analysis and design.
    • Past experience in personnel management.
