    Description

    Position summary:
    The Controls Engineer will be responsible for developing electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles and involvement in presentation of the solution to the customer

    Job Family:

    Spend time on the floor to troubleshoot and correct issues to improve processes with automation projectsTroubleshoot and support production equipment using several common systems (PLC, Vision, and Robotics), or other control platforms as requiredWork with many different aspects of controls, from system definition to design and programmingIntegrate hardware and software solutions for manufacturing Define necessary capital controls equipment for projects6.Vision Systems (Keyence, Cognex, and Senso Part)7.PLC programing Languages and HMI systems used (Allen Bradley, and GE)8.Robot brands (Denso, Fanuc, and ABB)Experience designing and creating electrical printsMentor Controls Technicians, Controls Apprentice and Production technicians as directed by Management.

    Work from and update the project-tracking list assigned by Lead Controls Engineer.


    Education & Experience:
    High School Diploma A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with mechanical aptitude/experience; or a Bachelor's Degree in Controls Engineering with automation training/experience; or similarAt least 3-5 or more years of experience in Automation / Controls Engineering and/or Manufacturing Engineering with controls experience
    Preferred Experience:10+ years of manufacturing controls and robotic integration experienceBe versatile in multiple platforms or circuitry and programming languages3.All automation equipment in molding, paint, and assembly departments not excluding robotics, PLC's, vision, conveyors, smart actuators, or any other automation equipment's 4.Experience with multiple programming software platforms for PLC, Vision, Robotics, and Servo Actuators5.Rockwell Automation integrators certification 6.Experiences in Electronics sensors and test equipmentNon
