    Position: Controls Engineer

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    As a Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems that drive the success of our projects in the warehousing and food processing sectors. Responsible for the electrical hardware design, PLC Programming, HMI programming, troubleshooting and commissioning of automation control systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and a solid background of 5-10 years of experience in controls engineering, with expertise in Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, Drives, and Network systems.

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & QUALITIES:

    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field
    • 5-10 years of experience in controls engineering with a focus on Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, Drives, and Network systems
    • Previous experience in the warehousing and food processing industries is highly desirable
    • Experience preparing drawings, specifications, and material lists as needed for awarded jobs
    • Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI design, and network configuration

    • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve control system issues
    • Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate documentation
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies​

    JOB TYPE:

    • Hudsonville, MI area (Onsite)
    • Up to 25% travel
