The Position
Our confidential client is seeking an experienced Director of Finance & Accounting to ensure smooth operations within the organization.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is responsible for all financial accounting operations on-site, including preparing financial reports, conducting research and analysis, maintaining the general ledger, performing account reconciliations, assisting with audit preparations, and carrying out other accounting duties as needed.

The Director of Finance and Accounting will also ensure compliance with all applicable tax and accounting regulations and oversee the preparation and filing of financial statements.

Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate and coordinate with local Finance employees (Accounting/Controlling) and outsourced accounting to ensure seamless operations
Oversee accounting, controlling, and local tax matters for all Slovenian subsidiaries
Prepare financial statements and reports for Group Accounting and Group Controlling in a timely manner
Manage all financial transactions
Effectively organize and manage the financial administration area
Act as a business partner for topics such as business development, revenue analysis, and reporting, providing financial guidance to department heads and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals
