- Lead and oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet daily, monthly, and quarterly targets, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align production activities with business goals.
- Hire, train, and develop production team members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and standard work instructions to ensure consistency and efficiency in production processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction initiatives, leading cross-functional teams to implement solutions and drive operational excellence.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics, analyzing data and implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve production goals.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues, optimize equipment performance, and ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, enforcing company policies and procedures related to safety, housekeeping, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage production-related budgets, including labor, materials, and overhead costs, to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in manufacturing, and implement relevant improvements to enhance production efficiency and competitiveness.
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of production manufacturing experience, with demonstrated leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma, and experience implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing SOPs and standard work instructions to drive consistency and efficiency in production operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coach, mentor, and develop a diverse production team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify root causes of production issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing operations.
