    Company Overview:
    Our client is a dynamic entertainment company that is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team.

    Position Overview:
    This is a hybrid position, allowing flexibility in working both remotely and in their West Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic work environment. This is also a 3-6 months contract opportunity.

    Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the full cycle of accounting processes, including month-end and year-end close activities.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
    • Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.
    • Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors as necessary.
    • Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the finance team.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 4+ years experience
    • NetSuite, SAP, Oracle or other large ERP system experience
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
